Our greatest desire is for people to come to know God personally. The simple truth is that there is a God who created you and loves you very much. He gave us life and deserves our gratitude and love.

We, however, have chosen to disobey Him and sin against Him; all of us have done wrong and failed to do what is right. We may not be more sinful than our neighbor, or we may be far worse than anyone we know, it does not matter. Either way, we are guilty before God.

First Lady Telayo L. Hill Standfield more affectionately known to family and friends as “Shone” was reared in the fear of God. In January 1984, during a revival conducted by Minister Eugene Nixon at New Bethel Church of God in Christ, she gave her heart to Jesus at the young age of thirteen and has worked in the church all of her life.

At an early age she was known throughout the Jasper District for singing “Trouble In My Way”, she is an anointed tambourine player, and loves praise and worship. She has always been sold out for Christ and believes all things should be done with and in a spirit of excellence. Telayo Standfield was raised in Jasper, Alabama. Read more.
